DIY Geometric Serving Tray

This post is in partnership with Behr. As always all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Every time I see a pretty tray at the store I think I have to have it. Even though I really don’t entertain that much. But I do love to decorate, and trays are the perfect way to help bring a little personality to your space. I’m so excited to be teaming with with Behr to create this DIY Geometric Serving Tray and there’s a $50 Home Depot gift card up for grabs too!

Ever since we completed our Laundry Room makeover and I made the wood wall/floating bench, I’ve been scheming up plans to use a similar pattern and design somewhere else in our house. The perfect culprit: a plain wooden tray. It had the flat wooden surface I needed and it wouldn’t be such a labor of love since it was on a much smaller scale. I used balsa wood which is super lightweight and easy to cut – so easy you can use scissors! Add in a little paint and you’ve got a one of a kind serving tray perfect to use as decor or maybe it will encourage your guy to bring you breakfast in bed more often? Worth a shot 😉

Just beautiful, Bre! I love the color you used, and that geometric design is beautiful. This is such a good alternative to your laundry room wall for the power-saw-less (me). xoxo

Waouh, such a cute tray! I’ve done one like this myself but it doesn’t look that good… Maybe I should try again?
