What My Friends All Brought to Our Favorite Things Party

What is a Favorite Things party you might be asking? It’s a get together amongst friends and everyone brings their favorite thing to share with everyone else. We set a budget (ours is $20) and we have to bring enough of our favorite thing to share with everyone else. So you leave with a whole bunch of goodies and it’s like a mini Christmas!

I started doing this with a group of friends 6 years ago and it’s something I look forward to every year. We used to do it in December, but with everyone’s crazy schedules we started pushing it to January, and this year we didn’t get to it until February.

It’s always so fun to see what everyone brought and everyone shares a little backstory along with it. So I thought it would be fun to share what everyone brought with you!

1. Kate McLeod Daily Stone Mini

We’ll start with what I brought first. I discovered these lotion stones when I was in my hometown over Thanksgiving and was doing some shopping in the village. They had these stones set out to try and Eloise & I instantly fell in love with them. I ended up getting them for both girls and my mom for Christmas and we’re all obsessed.

They come in different scents and it’s shaped like a small round stone. You can use it anywhere on your body and it provides a spa like treatment without all the goop. They leave your hands/body feeling buttery soft and nourished!

2. Drift Car Freshener

My friend Heather gave us all these Drift Car Fresheners. Which my brother had actually given me for Christmas too! I hadn’t heard of them before but they have wood & stone versions, both that are soaked in essential oils and magnetized to fit on your visor with the metal clip they come with.

I’m pretty particular about scents in our home/car and so I love that they use cleaner ingredients and the scents smell so good!

3. Glamnetic Nails & L’Occitane Hand Cream

My friend Maria brought us these Glamnetic nails that she raves about. I’ve never heard of them before but I’m excited to try them out. I rarely ever get my nails done so I’m all about anything that will save me time & money at the salon.

She also gifted us this mini L’Occitane hand cream that I’ve already tossed in my purse for on the go relief. I don’t know about you guys but my hands are taking a beating this winter and need all the moisturization they can get!

4. Prequel Skin Universal Skin Solution

I feel like I’m out of the loop when it comes to viral skincare – most likely because a lot of them go viral on TikTok and I don’t have an account. But apparently this skin spray went viral and people love it. It’s a Hypochlorous Acid Spray that my friend Megan brought us all which is basically an antibacterial spray for your face/body.

It’s meant to hydrate, cleanse, purify and reduce redness and irritation. It feels super refreshing – will have to report back on any changes I notice!

5. Mini Coin Purse & Glossier Balm Dotcom

My friend Meaghan is a big Longchamps bag girly but since that would be far outside of our budget constraints, she found us all these cute little coin purses that look like the real thing. Perfect to toss in your purse for loose change or the perfect size for chapstick/lipgloss.

Which leads me to her second gift. Glossier Balm Dotcom. Truthfully I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything from Glossier before but this lip gloss is pretty phenom and the peppermint bark flavor I received makes me want to eat it.

6. Salt & Stone Body Mist & Make at Home Tea

My friend Amber brought everyone a sample size of Salt & Stone Body Mist. Mine is the saffron and cedar and smells so yummy. I feel like it goes on very light and doesn’t leave a strong lingering trail. And I love the small sample size to toss in my purse or travel with.

She also brought us a make at home tea from a local company that she loves!

7. Food Storage, Blur-fection & Ferrero Rocher

My friend Christina brought us her favorite food storage container which I can totally agree with because I have them too. They come in glass & plastic and have the most secure lids that keep everything super fresh!

She also gave us this magical blur-fection makeup powder that is supposed to make your pores, or anything on your face really, that you don’t want people to see, disappear. Will report back!

And lastly, a Ferrero Rocher because they are divine.

8. Acrylic Napkin Holder

Michelle gifted us these adorable acrylic napkin holders to use in the bathroom. Honestly you could use them anywhere, but there’s just something fancy feeling about using a pretty napkin to dry your hands after you use the bathroom. We don’t actually have a towel hook in our master bathroom so I’m excited to have this!

9. Smartmouth Mouthwash & Versace Bright Crystal

My friend Shannon always delivers with the best practical gifts. Apparently this is another viral TikTok product that everyone loves for it’s zinc technology and dual-chamber bottle.

And a little sample of Versace Bright Crystal that has the prettiest floral & fruity scent.

10. Good Seasons Salad Dressing Cruet & Recipe Mix

Rounding out the last gift is this cruet and recipe mix from my friend Ashley. She uses it to make her signature pasta salad with her secret ingredient: Salad Supreme. As soon as I brought it home Dan cracked it open and sprinkled some on a cucumber. An ode to something his mom used to do.

I usually make my dressings in a mason jar but I’m excited to have a designated cruet now!

So there ya have it. A peek into our Favorite Things party and what a bunch of late 30-early 40 year old women are loving right now in their lives!
